Casa Barragán is owned and operated by former Ajijic town administrator Chuni Medeles and his sister, Ana Paula Medeles.
They serve seven kinds of pizza and a few kinds of salads. The salads come with unique dressings, like honey or hibiscus. There are also weekly specials on the menu.
Casa Barragán is named after internationally renowned architect Luís Barragán. He built the house on nearby Francisco Madero Avenue where the restaurant was first located. Barragán built many homes in many places in Mexico, including Guadalajara (where he was born in 1902) and the Chapala area.
Casa Barragán is open Thursdays through Sundays.
