Donas Donuts Ajijic

For some weekend visitors from Guadalajara, Donas Donuts is an obligatory place to stop off when arriving or leaving town. It’s packed late into the evening on Sundays with families who came to get away from the city for the day.

They have glazed donas (donuts), cream- and fruit-filled, sprinkles, and nuts, but the real killers are the buttermilk donuts made with jocoque.
