The Art House

The Art House is the go-to place at Lake Chapala for artists and photographers who need reproductions or prints of their work.

Owner Lupita Cano has spent more than ten years helping local artists realize their visions in print.

Painters can scan their work digitally and get it reproduced on canvas using a 44-inch Epson Stylus Pro 9890 printer. Salvador Ortiz will then stretch the canvas at his framing shop in Ajijic.

Photographers can get their photos printed using archival-quality papers and pigments. Prints and photos are high-quality and if they don’t meet your standards Lupita will reprint them at no cost.

You can also get your work reproduced on mugs, pillows and fabrics, and other objects you can resell.

Lupita used to live in New York City and speaks fluent English, so you don’t have to worry about stumbling on any technical words related to printing. Her shop used to be located in Chapala for years before moving to Ajijic.
